You need to be able to lock the number of messages for the payment amount, a few tiers would be very useful.

I would like to build custom knowledge sources and sell them to users. For example, I could compile federal government data on a given topic, such as health care, and create a bot. I like the idea of being able to offer a number of free tokens and then charge thereafter.

Usecase: Say you have a coach or subject matter expert selling their knowledge to train others. To give them more time to focus on their 1 on 1 clients we can build them a chatbot trained on their docs. Each day they could provide 1 or more questions ( requests ) per day for free and if they want more requests they could pay $25 for 5 more questions or what ever the number or amount.

This is indeed an option that would allow people who want to use their own advice bot to go further by offering various subscriptions.
If I could have that, that would be great. It's currently my headache to be able to offer a bot with a limited free version and a premium version.

This would be awesome for so many reasons. The main reason though is to really be able to conduct sales through the bot. Without this Honestly I feel like in many ways it would defeat the purpose of being able to use the bot to handle sales which is a waste of this platforms potential in my opinnion. So absolutely please add this feature!

i'm looking for a chatbot solution to create a custom trained AI CBT Therapist chatbot and also a medical diagnostic chatbot that can conduct a clinical interview. The therapy bot is good to go but the diagnostic one would need more rigorous trials of course before wide scale use. chatGPT itself is 'fair' at making diagnosis if it's a doctor who is prompting it with all the necessary info but otherwise it might make wrong decisions. having the option to charge a small fee for usage would be very helpful. I'm also planning to connect the bot to real therapists and other healthcare professionals and having this payment option would help. currently i use membership subscription to my website (clinicai.io) + limit monthly chatbot usage, but the issue arrises when users need more messages.

Dhananjay, having messages counter and connected STRIPE PAYWALL is extremely important and useful. Not all customers are big enough or willing to have their own GPT API . Hence we should have the ability to limit the number of messages per month and also give them a choice to buy one time bulk package of messages if needed. This will be useful for the customers who would want to charge for their knowledge in a chat consulting. In this case they can use their stripe account in their chat to charge their customers.
Also think about having the ability to insert videos, Ads ( Single and Carousel) inside the chat automatically at certain intervals. If you can provide these your app will become more attractive and compelling. Thanks š
